Shamrock Smoothie

 
 

This fun Saint Patrick’s Day themed smoothie will be a hit with the kids. Feel free to customize with protein powder, flavorings and and even ice cream. Top it off with some whipped cream and sprinkles!

You Need:

  • Frozen chopped spinach  

  • Milk 

  • Yogurt 

  • Frozen bananas - halved or coined

  • Liquid sweetener like agave syrup or honey

  • Blender

  • Add-Ons: whipped cream, peppermint flavoring, sprinkles, protein powder, etc 

To Make:

  1. Gather all of your ingredients. 

  2. Blend spinach, bananas and milk followed by yogurt. 

  3. Add in sweetener to taste along with anything additional like the protein powder or flavoring. 

  4. Blend until smooth. 

  5. Pour into cups and top with whipped cream and sprinkles!  

Tip: Plant based milks and yogurt work just as well as dairy in this recipe.
