Step-by-Step Guide to Registering as a Napp Sitter


 

Step 1: Download Napp in the App or Google Play Store and select “Register.”

 

Step 2: Input an email address you have direct access to, create a password, and agree to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

 

Step 3: Select that you are registering as a Sitter (if you wish to also register a family account, you will need to create a separate account with a different email address).

 

 

Step 4: Input your information and date of birth. (NOTE: you must be 18 years or older to join.) If you have a referral or promo code, please enter in the Referral Code field.

 

Step 5: Enter address (this is so we can give approximate distances for available jobs).

 

Step 6: Help us get to know you by answering a few questions about your background.

 

 

Step 7: Please add at least three child care references for review. References may not be family members, and must be someone for whom you have provided child care.

Step 8: Follow the prompts to set up your account with Stripe - this is how you will be paid! Please use the same email address you used when setting up your Napp account.

 

 

Step 9: Confirm your phone number through Stripe.

 

Step 10: Input your legal name. For “Your Website” please enter: www.nappnetwork.com.

 

Step 11: Input your account details for payment processing. All jobs booked will be directly paid into this account. We recommend using a bank account and routing number for a more seamless experience.

 

 

Step 12: You’re almost there! Please follow these next steps to proceed with registering as a Napp sitter. (NOTE: Please be on the lookout for an email from Yardstik with your unique link to complete your background check. This is a special link made just for your profile. If you do not receive, please check your spam folder or email us at info@nappnetwork.com).

 

Step 13: Select the appropriate Sitter Welcome Call based on your location. If you are located in any of our service areas outside of California please select “(all markets besides CA).” If you are located in California, please select the “(California)” welcome call schedule.

 

Step 13 (cont.): Select a day and time that works best for you. Once complete, you will receive an email confirmation from info@nappnetwork.com. If you need to reschedule, please follow the prompts to do so in Calendly.

 

 

Step 14: The app will remain on this screen until your background check and call are completed. Please don't forget to view our Sitter Standards while your registration is being completed!

Once all steps are complete and you approved into the network, you will receive a Welcome email from Napp and the platform will automatically provide you with access to begin posting availability and requesting gigs.
