Oil + Water Sensory Bags

 
 

These sensory bags are great for sensory exploration of all ages! Tape the bag down flat on the ground or table for littles so it doesn’t move around. You can even transfer it to a clear bottle for travel or calm down corner use.

 

What you’ll need:

  • Gallon Sized Freezer Bag

  • 2 Cups of Oil

  • 1/4 cup of water

  • Food Coloring

  • Tape

 
 

To do:

  1. Measure and add the oil to the bag. 

  2. Measure the water and mix a couple drops of food coloring with it. Then add the water to the bag.

  3. Seal the bag shut - try to take out as much air as possible, seal and then tape it shut. 

  4. Tape the bag to the floor or table so that it doesn’t move it around while being played with. 

    Tip: Get creative and add extra goodies to your bag such as glitter, pom poms, beads, etc.
