Tissue Paper Popsicles
These are so fun to make with the kids and they will love how unique each pattern comes out! It's a great craft for any age and you can get creative with. Just make sure you are wearing old clothes as it can stain!
Note: Bleeding tissue paper it’s a special type of tissue paper that is highly pigmented and the color runs when it gets wet. You might find some regular tissue paper also does this, so it’s worth checking with what you have at home already. You can find bleeding tissue paper on Amazon!
What You’ll Need:
Bleeding Tissue Paper
Cardstock
Popsicle Sticks
Popsicle Template
White Crayon (optional)
To Make:
To make the white sprinkle effect or other white pattern, use a white crayon to draw them onto the photo card as a first step before wetting it and adding the tissue paper. The color doesn’t take to the waxed areas leaving the patterns.
Wet your piece of photo paper.
Arrange strips of tissue paper onto the card in whatever design you like.
Spray with some water again to make sure everything is wet.
Leave for a minute or two.
Remove the strips of tissue paper and allow them to dry.
On the back of the card, draw around your popsicle template and cut it out.
Use tape to stick a craft stick to the back.
